Larry Foley and Media Selections for Kranji Sunday 22nd July 2018

Larry Foley and Media Selections for Kranji Sunday 22nd July 2018

race 1: class 4 non premier - 1200m (polytrack) time: 13:20 prize money: s$45000

2 - HONOR - Finds it hard to win but is rarely far away. Should get a good run throughout and be in the finish.
7 - PRINCE ALEXANDER - Maiden who improved last start and has placed at five of seven poly outings including this company. Gets Michael Rodd and should be running on.
1 - MILITARY MIGHT - Just missed in KSD last start and won over this trip in Class 5 three starts back. Duric stays on and should be handy throughout.

race 2: restricted maiden (2 and 3 year old) (weight for age) - 1200m course d (sc) (turf track) time: 13:50 prize money: s$85000

6 - LORD OF LIGHT - Showed speed and despite greenness fought on well at debut. Poorly drawn but should be prominent with Vlad Duric to ride.
5 - LORD JUSTICE - By Showcasing. Brother to good horse Deimos and half-brother to stayer El Don. Trials have been good enough to win on debut in this field.
11 - MO ALMIGHTY - Did it tough on debut and showed enough to think he improves and can play a part in this finish with no weight.

race 3: class 4 premier (2) - 1200m (polytrack) time: 14:20 prize money: s$60000

1 - OCULIST - Improved by two outings since arrival from Hong Kong. Trialled solidly and gets blinkers and should improve down in Class.
3 - SNIP - Fought hard over 1100m in this Class last start. 1200m can test but should be handy throughout.
4 - SHAQRAA - Ran on well over 1000m last start at second outing since resuming. Steps up in trip but should be running on.

race 4: restricted maiden (2 and 3 year old) (weight for age) - 1600m course d (sc) (turf track) time: 14:50 prize money: s$85000

1 - THEAGENESOFTHASOS - Improved last start in Novice company. Bred for this trip and with Vlad Duric to ride from a good gate should be hard to hold out.
3 - LIM'S RHYTHM - Hung in and just missed last start over this trip. Racing soundly over 1600m and if more tractable will be hard to beat.
2 - KRANJI GOLD - Rarely races poorly but has been finding it hard to break through. Steps up in trip and should be handy for a long way

race 5: class 5 - 1000m (polytrack) time: 15:25 prize money: s$20000

1 - BRING ME JOY - Has only battled at past two outings but will relish being back in Class 5. Won over 1100m here five starts back and with Michael Rodd up should be hard to beat.
9 - PETITE VICTOIRE - Has been beaten by wide gates at past four outings. Well drawn here and could be hard to run down with no weight.
8 - COOL CAT - Veteran who hasn't won for an age but is rarely far away. Will be thereabouts.

race 6: class 4 non premier - 2000m course d (sc) (turf track) time: 15:55 prize money: s$45000

3 - SANDTOP - Has been threatening but is yet to deliver in Singapore. Badly held up and never clear last start (and debris in trachea). Vlad Duric stays on and will be hard to hold out.
1 - KINGS RYKER - Caught wide and battled on over 1800m last start. Has won at this trip, rarely runs poorly and will be handy throughout.
5 - LIM'S RIPPLE - Close up at recent outings and suited this distance. Will be handy throughout.

race 7: class 4 premier (1) - 1200m (polytrack) time: 16:25 prize money: s$60000

3 - DESTROYER ECLIPSE - Only battled on turf last start but better suited here. Only win was at this trip but has placed at all four poly outings and should be running on.
1 - ARR FLAIR - Racing soundly and ran on well last start in this class. Michael Rodd stays on and from good gate hard to hold out again.
6 - SPECIAL RAIN - Had excuses not to be in the winning mix last start and goes close with luck from wide gate.

race 8: korea racing authority trophy open (3 year old and upwards) (set weights) (rider allowances not permitted) - 1200m (polytrack) time: 17:05 prize money: s$250000

1 - SKYWALK - Didn't go a year in the Lion City Cup on turf but much better suited here at race conditions suit. Hard to hold out.
2 - RAFAELLO - Showed last start he more than handles the Poly and hard to beat on a repeat of that effort.
4 - ROYAL RULER - Drawn wide but has an excellent win record and should figure at the business end.

race 9: class 4 non premier - 1000m (polytrack) time: 17:40 prize money: s$45000

1 - BEST WISHES - Form reads badly but a significant drop to recent winning Class and will give a sight.
2 - ENTHUSE - Blinkers off after doing everything bar win of late. Goes close but has been costly for followers.
5 - PETITE VOIX - Broke overdue maiden status in fine form last start and pay to follow from gate 2 with headgear removed.

Go tell it to the to the marines

Do think about it and do think rationally, long and very hard about it - If you can genuinely tell me that you really know when and where your winners will come from !!

Or else

Go tell it to the marines,

or Go take a long walk off a short pier,

or let me put it to you bluntly - Go get stuffed

ROFLMAO

It does not much matter at all whether you are selling kachang puteh or a high roller.

It does not much matter at all whether you are selling kachang puteh or a high roller.

It does not much matter whether you are a treasure hunter, gambling, trading, investing or running a business (big or selling kachang puteh). All of them entail a fair degree of risk and a lot of hard work sprinkled with a generous helping of luck.

Zero-Sum Game

Zero-Sum Game

Zero-Sum Game

Poker and gambling are popular examples of zero-sum games since the sum of the amounts won by some players equals the combined losses of the others. In game theory, the game of “Matching Pennies” is often cited as an example of a zero-sum game. ... This is a zero-sum game because one player's gain is the other's loss.

Zero-sum is a situation in game theory in which one person's gain is equivalent to another's loss, so the net change in wealth or benefit is zero. A zero-sum game may have as few as two players, or millions of participants. Zero-sum games are found in game theory, but are less common than non-zero sum games.

In contrast, non-zero-sum describes a situation in which the interacting parties' aggregate gains and losses can be less than or more than zero. A zero-sum game is also called a strictly competitive game while non-zero-sum games can be either competitive or non-competitive.

All the world's a stage

All the World's a Stage

The meaning of this phrase is that this world is like a stage show, and all human beings are merely actors.

Jacques has spoken this famous phrase in Act-II, Scene-VII of the play As You Like It. He says, “All the world's a stage,/ And all the men and women merely players.” The meaning of this phrase is that this world is like a stage show, and all human beings are merely actors.
