Kranji Friday 28th September 2018. -
Selections from Larry Foley of https://kranjiracing.com
race 1: class 5 - 1000m (polytrack) time: 18:20 prize money: s$20000
5 - CASSIS OOLONG - Hard to fault winning form of late and must be considered a serious threat in a race with no depth.
9 - GOOD BET - Not the type to win out of turn but excuses for only poor run of late and goes close in the field.
2 - MILLION ROUND - Never involved last start after tardy jump but will win soon in this company and gate 1 can't hurt.
race 2: selangor turf club trophy restricted maiden (2 and 3 year old) (weight for age) - 1600m course d (lc) (turf track) time: 18:50 prize money: s$85000
12 - STREET PARTY - Showed more than enough at two career starts to think he is hard to beat in this with winkers added on the back of a nice trial.
1 - CENTENARY DIAMOND - Improving with racing suited over the mile and hard to hold out with slight gear change.
5 - JUPITER DRAGON - Form reads only fair but will find this easier than last start and run on well enough to think the mile is ideal. Can win.
race 3: penang turf club trophy class 4 non premier - 1000m (polytrack) time: 19:25 prize money: s$45000
1 - LONHRO GOLD - Has pace and in the mix from wide gates at his last two runs so can win from barrier 1.
5 - TARO SAN - Disappointing last start but has trialled well subsequently and must be respected sans blinkers with 4kg claim.
3 - CERDAN - Nothing last start but will appreciate dropping back to Class 4 and this trip suits. Keep safe with 4kg claim a factor.
race 4: perak turf club trophy maiden - 1600m (polytrack) time: 20:00 prize money: s$20000
2 - CASH IS KING - Did it tough an ran on well last start in similar affair and must go close here from gate 2.
1 - ACCUMULATION - Had everything covered bar the winner last start and goes close again with luck from wide gate.
3 - MAI DARKO - Something had to amiss when showing nothing when pressure went on last start bit worth another look with Duric up.
race 5: jockey club of turkey trophy open maiden (weight for age) - 1100m (polytrack) time: 20:35 prize money: s$20000
1 - CONSERVATION - Resuming sans blinkers after hanging out badly last start. Wide gate will test but trials suggest a solid run.
2 - GROUND ATTACK - Did everything wrong last start (bad start, hung out baldy, lame) when putting in a shocker as even money favourite but worth another chance.
race 6: the mauritius turf club trophy class 5 - 1600m (polytrack) time: 21:10 prize money: s$20000
1 - ANGHIARI - Never got a clear run in straight and pulled up lame so forget last start and wins on form prior with 4kg claim a factor.
2 - GANNET - Ran on super to finish third last start (jockey weighed in light, officially last) and can win this with 53kg to carry.
8 - KASHAN - Form reads terribly but blew the start and his chances last start when blinkers added and happy to give another chance.
race 7: class 4 premier - 1400m course d (lc) (turf track) time: 21:45 prize money: s$60000
9 - OUR PINNACLE - Battled away and just missed a placing on Singapore debut. Trialled soundly since and gets blinkers. Should be running on with Michael Rodd to ride.
3 - OCULIST - Won twice in Australia before arrival and despite being well supported at past two Singapore outings has only battled. Sent back to trials after breaking through gates last start and doing laps riderless. If on best behaviour well up to this class.
8 - TOP KNIGHT - Ran on well from wide gate to win Maiden this trip. Rises 3.5kg but shows promise and should be running on.
race 8: class 4 non premier - 1400m course d (lc) (turf track) time: 22:20 prize money: s$45000
5 - ATTENTION - Maiden who had excuses last start and gives every indication that he can win stepping up to 1400m.
2 - SMOOTH OPERATOR - Battled away on the Poly last start but this trip and track is his caper and hard to beat.
8 - SATELLITE WARRIOR - Broke maiden status in fine style in similar affair last start and pay to follow from gate 4.

1 - SACRED MAGIC - In good form and ran on well last start in this class on poly. Won maiden on turf and with Michael Rodd to ride hard to hold off.
7 - JOYOUS - Will enjoy being back on turf and far better suited this distance. Can give a sight from the good gate.
5 - MILITARY MIGHT - Went back from wide gate before running on poly last start. Small field suits and could be running on.
race 2: pgi jockeys challenge asia (1st leg) kranji stakes d (set weights) - 1800m course d (lc) (turf track) time: 18:55 prize money: s$38000
4 - PACIFIC OCEAN - Maiden who just missed on the Poly last start in this Company and more than handles the turf so can win.
race 3: pgi jockeys challenge australia (2nd leg) kranji stakes c (2) (set weights) - 1200m course d (lc) (turf track) time: 19:30 prize money: s$80000
1 - MISTER YEOH - Beaten as the odds on pop in Class 2 last start but can carry 59.5kg and make quick amends here.
5 - IMPERIUM - Just got the job done as even money favourite in easier company last start but is progressive and handles the turf so can follow.
race 4: pgi jockeys challenge south africa (3rd leg) kranji stakes c (1) (set weights) - 1200m course d (lc) (turf track) time: 20:05 prize money: s$80000
6 - MORITZ ECLIPSE - Showed last start why the turf is his caper and goes very close on a repeat of that effort.
8 - LIM'S KNIGHT - Drawn wide but will get back and run on strong with the switch to the turf in his favour.
race 5: pgi jockeys challenge uk (4th leg) kranji stakes b (set weights) - 1600m course d (lc) (turf track) time: 20:40 prize money: s$100000
3 - TESORO PRIVADO - Drawn wide but hard to fault form and recent trial suggests he is spot on to win again.
5 - EAGLE EYE - Backed up Class 3 win with very good run in the Moonbeam Vase and that form will hold up in this field.
1 - TWICKENHAM - Form reads badly but very much appreciates this company and the mile with blinkers added.
race 6: phumelela gaming & leisure ltd trophy class 4 non premier - 1200m (polytrack) time: 21:15 prize money: s$45000
3 - REVOLUTION - Racing well and ran on stoutly to just miss last start in Novice class. Shows promise and should be hard to hold off.
1 - GOLD STRIKE - In good form. Drops back in trip and on to poly but trial was solid and with Michael Rodd to ride from gate two should get a good run throughout.
6 - MO ALMIGHTY - Freshened after strong Maiden win. Trialled solidly and should get a good run from inside gate. Can be in the finish.
race 7: kranji stakes d (1) (set weights) - 1200m course d (lc) (turf track) time: 21:55 prize money: s$38000
2 - KING OF WAR - Disappointed last start after a string of placings. Finds it hard to win but switch back to turf and 1200m may help.
7 - TAICHI BELT - Just missed last start on poly. Won Maiden on turf and could be hard to run down with Duric up.
4 - COME AND TAKE ALL - Form reads badly but race suits and showed enough late last start and at a recent trial to consider at odds.

race 1: gilt complex 2017 stakes class 4 non premier - 1100m (polytrack) time: 12:50 prize money: s$45000
7 - RICHEBOURG - Caught wide but outclassed them on debut. Gets a tongue-tie and from the good gate should give a sight again.
1 - EFFORTLESS - Checked at 300m but ran on stoutly to place last start in similar class. 4kg claim helps and should be running on.
2 - GLORIA ECLIPSE - Had support and led throughout to hold on in KSD over this trip last start. 2kg claimer replaces Duric but this not much stronger and from good gate should be hard to run down again.
race 2: debt collector 2016 stakes restricted maiden (2 and 3 year old) (weight for age) - 1200m course b (sc) (turf track) time: 13:20 prize money: s$85000
1 - MACH - Has been runner-up at both career outings, at Morphettville (SA) and at Singapore debut when well supported and held up on straightening. Should be improved and despite 4kg weight rise should be hard to beat.
2 - BOY NEXT DOOR - Ran in some good races in NZ without winning and has placed at both Singapore outings. Well drawn and should be handy throughout.
9 - LINCOLN MOONLIGHT - Led and run down late at debut when coming from wide gate. Better drawn here and should be prominent.
race 3: stepitup 2015 stakes kranji stakes c (2) (set weights) - 1000m (polytrack) time: 13:50 prize money: s$80000
3 - LIM'S RACER - Resuming and trialling well after change of stables. Well drawn, has speed an has first up form. Can win.
4 - CADET - Resumed well with good Class 3 win. Subsequent trial was strong and from inside gate can box seat throughout. Will be in the finish.
5 - KISS YOUR SONG - Ridden forward from wide gate and fought hard to win narrowly last start. Rises 4.5kg but has won past three and is progressive. Hard to hold out.
race 4: war affair 2014 stakes kranji stakes a (2) (set weights) - 1200m course b (sc) (turf track) time: 14:20 prize money: s$125000
1 - RAFAELLO - Sat wide and too strong on poly last start. Has to give them all weight but has won eight times at the trip and will be hard to hold out.
9 - BE BEE - Resuming. Three Year Old Sprint winner who found 1600m too far in Singapore Guineas last start. Better suited this trip and could charge home late.
6 - HERMANO MENOR - Fought on well when resuming. Suited here and on minimum weight should be handy throughout.
race 5: super ninetyseven 2013 stakes class 4 non premier - 2000m course b (sc) (turf track) time: 14:50 prize money: s$45000
1 - GOLD REWARD - Racing honestly in this company and with Michael Rodd to ride from a good gate should be handy throughout. Hard to hold off.
5 - LIM'S RIPPLE - Had excuses (Checked, debris in trachea) three starts back when well supported over this trip. Placed on poly last start over 1800m and with Troy See to ride again can be in the finish.

5 - CURVATURE - Fought to hard to hang on when odds-on favourite last start over 1400m. Has been freshened and should be prominent.
8 - BIRAZ - Caught wide and just missed in this class last start on poly. Better drawn here, suited on turf and should be hard to run down.
race 7: el dorado classic (sg3)(3 year old and upwards) (rider allowances not permitted) - 2000m course b (sc) (turf track) time: 15:50 prize money: s$150000
6 - MAKANANI - Takaoka runner who is coming into form at the right time and could be hard to hold out.
race 8: always certain 2011 stakes kranji stakes c (1) (set weights) - 1000m (polytrack) time: 16:25 prize money: s$80000
9 - NOVA VOCAL - Resumed with support and ran on well behind smart one last start and could be hard to hold out in this field.

race 9: raffles cup (sg1)(3 year old and upwards) (weight for age) (1st leg singapore triple crown series) (rider allowances not permitted) - 1600m course b (lc) (turf track) time: 17:00 prize money: s$1000000
2 - DEBT COLLECTOR - First run in 2018 in the Jumbo Jet was huge and looks to have trained on well on the back of a nice recent trial. Can win at the WFA conditions.
1 - CIRCUIT LAND - In the winning mix in the Jumbo and mile suits. Looks a winning hope with H Bowman from gate 6.
10 - NOAH FROM GOA - South African Group 1 mile winner who took two runs in Singapore to show he could be a contender in WFA races.

4 - MADE IN RUSSIA - Won like a good thing at Singapore debut and looks a horse to follow through the grades.
13 - AUTUMN ASSAULT - Exciting 3YO who bolted in last start in albeit much easier company but pay to follow with gate 1 a bonus.
race 11: cheyenne dancer 2009 stakes class 4 non premier - 1400m course b (lc) (turf track) time: 18:05 prize money: s$45000
9 - THE WIND - Has looked to have some in hand at his last couple on the Poly and can win with winkers added in what is a more suitable turf race.
4 - LIM'S ZOOM - Becoming slightly costly for followers given the support he gets but wins sooner than later.
