Larry Foley and Media Selections for Kranji Sunday 17th June 2018.

Kranji Sunday 17th June 2018

Selections from Larry Foley

https://kranjiracing.com

race 1: class 4 non premier - 1100m (polytrack) time: 13:20 prize money: s$45000

1 - THE GOLDEN GOAT - Consistent in this company. Rises 2kg but Duric stays on and should be prominent from the good gate.
3 - HONOR - Finds it hard to win but rarely far away. Will be running on.
6 - THOTH WARRIOR - Has won back-to-back Class 5's. This is harder but distance suits and well drawn. Should be prominent.

race 2: restricted maiden (2 and 3 year old) (weight for age) - 1000m (polytrack) time: 13:50 prize money: s$85000

6 - MY FRIENDS - Had support and debuted well. Well drawn, winkers replace blinkers and should be in the finish.
9 - SPOKESMAN - By Alamosa. Dam won over 1200m. Drawn awkwardly but enough to like about his trial to consider on debut.
12 - GAMELY - Showed speed at debut and should be improved. Should be prominent for a long way from good gate.

race 3: class 5 - 1800m (polytrack) time: 14:20 prize money: s$20000

1 - SPIRIT SEVEN - Won four starts back over 1700m. Drops back to Class 5 and will find this more suitable than recent outings. Should be in the finish.
4 - EVERTRUST - Led throughout to win over 1600m last start. Failed at only other 1800m attempt but with 4kg claim can be prominent for a long way.
3 - DANGER ZONE - Has won twice at this trip and best work very late last start has him under notice.

race 4: restricted maiden (2 and 3 year old) (weight for age) - 1600m course d (sc) (turf track) time: 14:55 prize money: s$85000

6 - TURF PRINCESS - Narrowly beaten at past two outings and had epiglottic entrapment last start. Improving and this distance should suit. Hard to hold off.
4 - ALAMAK - Improving with racing and should be suited this distance. Hard to hold out with Duric to ride.
8 - CALL IT - Ran on stoutly despite wide gate last start at first try over 1600m. Better drawn here and can be in the finish.

race 5: class 4 non premier - 1700m (polytrack) time: 15:25 prize money: s$45000

4 - HAPPY SAGA - Bolted in last start over this trip and meets similar company. Has now won nine races and despite 3kg rise can be in the finish again.
1 - METTLESOME - Caught wide and only battled last start. Previous efforts sound and should be prominent from better gate.
2 - Q NINE MILLION - Charged home late at long odds last start. Hard to beat if can replicate that effort.

race 6: open maiden (weight for age) - 1200m course d (sc) (turf track) time: 16:00 prize money: s$20000

3 - OL MATE BUZZER - Has plenty of speed, blinker/pacifiers back on will take some running down.
8 - BEJEWELLED - Resuming with blinkers and tongue-tie after solid poly debut. Well drawn and can give a sight with Vlad Duric to ride.
9 - SUN ELIZABETH - Japanese mare who has run well at both Singapore outings. Drops back to 1200m but should be handy throughout.

race 7: class 4 non premier - 1400m course d (sc) (turf track) time: 16:30 prize money: s$45000

1 - BUENOS AIRES - Over-raced early but ran on solidly last start. Winkers come off and should be hard to hold off.
7 - ROCK EAGLE - Has been running on solidly at recent outings. Hasn't won for a while but is rarely far away. Glen Boss may help.
6 - NOVA CLASSIC - Run down late 0ver 1600m last start. Better suited this trip and with Amirul to ride should be prominent for a long way.

race 8: class 3 - 1100m (polytrack) time: 17:00 prize money: s$80000

2 - SPECIAL KING - Drawn wide but lost in the Stewards Room last start (with gap to third) and hard to beat in this field.
5 - SPLINTER - Will very much appreciate being back on the Poly and always some show on the all-weather.
3 - FRIENDSHIP - Resuming with solid trials under his belt and has good first up form so can consider with one eye on the market.

race 9: class 4 premier - 1100m (polytrack) time: 17:30 prize money: s$60000

5 - SUN PRINCEPS - No match for winner last start but had everything else covered and happy to follow.
2 - CRAZY DREAMS - Two career wins on the Poly and showed enough last start to give this a shake.
4 - SOLDADO - Yet to win on the Poly but just missed when running on strongly last start and must be a show with blinkers added.

Go tell it to the to the marines

Do think about it and do think rationally, long and very hard about it - If you can genuinely tell me that you really know when and where your winners will come from !!

Or else

Go tell it to the marines,

or Go take a long walk off a short pier,

or let me put it to you bluntly - Go get stuffed

ROFLMAO

It does not much matter at all whether you are selling kachang puteh or a high roller.

It does not much matter at all whether you are selling kachang puteh or a high roller.

It does not much matter whether you are a treasure hunter, gambling, trading, investing or running a business (big or selling kachang puteh). All of them entail a fair degree of risk and a lot of hard work sprinkled with a generous helping of luck.

Zero-Sum Game

Zero-Sum Game

Zero-Sum Game

Poker and gambling are popular examples of zero-sum games since the sum of the amounts won by some players equals the combined losses of the others. In game theory, the game of “Matching Pennies” is often cited as an example of a zero-sum game. ... This is a zero-sum game because one player's gain is the other's loss.

Zero-sum is a situation in game theory in which one person's gain is equivalent to another's loss, so the net change in wealth or benefit is zero. A zero-sum game may have as few as two players, or millions of participants. Zero-sum games are found in game theory, but are less common than non-zero sum games.

In contrast, non-zero-sum describes a situation in which the interacting parties' aggregate gains and losses can be less than or more than zero. A zero-sum game is also called a strictly competitive game while non-zero-sum games can be either competitive or non-competitive.

All the world's a stage

All the world's a stage

All the World's a Stage

The meaning of this phrase is that this world is like a stage show, and all human beings are merely actors.

Jacques has spoken this famous phrase in Act-II, Scene-VII of the play As You Like It. He says, “All the world's a stage,/ And all the men and women merely players.” The meaning of this phrase is that this world is like a stage show, and all human beings are merely actors.
